What the Heck Does the World Even Look Like??!

Because people are probably frequently wondering this, I thought I would add this very sketchy and ill-fitted map of the well-known world (from the perspective of our Sirdabi Caliphate characters). Someday I will hopefully have time to create a real map rather than an embarrassing Sketchyworld one, but in the meantime maybe even this will help people visualize how the landmasses actually relate to one another in this hemisphere. The sketchy blob to the south of Idiri is Inkari, the seldom visited land often just called (appropriately) South Idiri.

This is super helpful!!! I'd sometimes pull up the region-specific maps and then mentally 'stitch' the edges together for whatever I could tell overlapped in order to create an atlas in my head. But the scales did not always seem to exactly match (depending on how zoomed in the view was) which made things tricky. This is really nice for establishing scale and relationships between landmasses. Much appreciated, even if it is a sketchy version right now! :)

But an idle curiosity that came up the other day in RP:

This map makes it look like the city of Noura is EXACTLY due south of the Eye. Is that more or less true or just an accidental bit of luck with how it was photoshopped together?
