The foreign prince who performed the feat of sailing across the Adelantean was commanded to present himself before the bey and was subsequently granted permission to trade with Raziya, though he apparently suffered a traumatic head injury when the bey's pet angrosh became enraged and kicked the prince to the ground. (Some refer to the angrosh more properly as one of the leading members of the bey's personal guard, but "pet angrosh" is what is widely muttered about.)
Most momentous of all, the leading astrologers of the caliphate have detected the return of the portentous planet Silguz to the heavens, a significant enough circumstance that Fuad Bey has declared the world now to be in the age of the Transit of Silguz.
