With the caravans from the south, amongst all the other outdated gossip and news that filters into Omrazir, comes a tidbit from Zalawi: law enforcement forces in Zaloudri are congratulating themselves on a great success, or at least so they claim. Apparently they captured and executed a pirate captain, one Ngozi Seyumbalo, along with her crew of miscreants, lately of the ship known as the Kraken's Call. Good riddance to pirate scum and filth, is the general consensus, though rumour has it that a few of the wretched reprobates might have escaped - or maybe the ship just drifted off, unanchored and unattended? No one's quite sure on this point, but how typical it seems either way, botching what ought to be a simple task and letting lowlife trash like pirates escape, or a derelict ghost ship go free to wreak havoc on the seas...
