Your application might not be approved just yet, so the Faded Zone is where you can hang out until approval and play with the commands and stuff, there are some mini quests etc you can do and you can play with combat in the arena as well.

25-12-19 00: 43:48-05 [-] the Mistsparrow: Nope, you are in fact approved! You just need to head north through the Nameless City until you get to the vortex, and then you should be able to go through it to get to Omrazir. :)
